Beautiful Brave Podcast Episode 1: Safe and Authentic Friendship

Hello, Voice of Courage Community!

I have some exciting news to share.

I’ve started a podcast! It’s called the Beautiful Brave Podcast with Sarah Bond, and you can now find the first episode on iTunes, Stitcher Smart Radio, and Google Play!

I decided I couldn’t think of a better way to start this next year of life than to act on a growing dream. So, on May 10th, my birthday, I recorded my first episode: my personal journey of discovering and creating safe and authentic friendships.

We so rarely talk directly about how to be safe people and find our core safe and authentic friendships, but the quality of our central relationships deeply impacts our souls. As I’ve talked about this topic with women in my local community, I’ve been surprised how deeply themes of safe and authentic friendship resonate with kindred spirits of all ages. That’s what prompted me to to make this the subject of my first podcast episode.

Dovetailing with this first episode, I recorded Episode 2, which is a discussion with a couple sweet girlfriends who share the wisdom and encouragements they’ve gleaned from their own journeys toward safe and authentic friendships.

That follow-up episode will go out this Friday, June 2.

Conversations and interviews like these are central to my vision for the Beautiful Brave Podcast, as storytelling and dialogue are a small taste of what I hope this podcast sparks for all of our listeners: thoughtfulness, growth, real face-to-face conversations, and deeper community with the precious people all around us.

So here you go, friends. I hope this podcast is a catalyst for growth in your personal life and more relationally grounded, world-changing impact in your unique spaces of influence and leadership. All of us are leaders in some way, and the quality and spirit of our influence matters.

Please take a moment to subscribe to Beautiful Brave through one of the podcast services (links included below) so you’ll be the first to know when I release new episodes throughout the month.

In each episode, I’ll dive into topics that are close to my heart, interviews with incredible women of influence, or practical coaching and leadership tools that can promote ongoing growth in all of us as dreamers and change-makers.

So without further ado, here is Episode 1!
